I Will Go On

When we encounter problems of various kinds, it is wise to follow what the Psalmist says.

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea….

Be still, and know that I am God! (Psalm 46:1,2 &10 NLT).

When we do this, although the storms may rage around us,

we find a place of complete peace and shelter in God!

 

 

I wake before the sun arrives

I'm feeling less and less alive

I didn't sleep that well last night

Overwhelmed and so uptight

Inside my head it’s very loud

I try my best to drown it out

Frustrating thoughts that never cease

I’d give it all for a moment’s peace

 

No matter what may come against me

I will go on, I will go on

The storm may rage but love surrounds me

In Jesus name I will go on!

 

Sometimes the world's an empty place

And people so devoid of grace

Their demands just carry on

It gets so dark before the dawn

When I feel my strength is gone

I'll lift my eyes to see the One

The One who died upon a cross

Be still and know that He is God
