MERCY TOUR

The last couple of months have been very busy. I have been spending time catching up on admin, working on songs for the new album, recording for other artists and leading worship at several functions including my own church. IN THE STUDIO

Besides working on my own songs, I have been involved in producing a song designed to promote Tourism in Tasmania. This has been a collaborative effort with David Carr and Peter Shurley as files have been sent between studios in Melbourne and Don. It’s amazing to think that bands used to go into the studio and play the song as a group. Now, thanks to technology, it is not unusual to post files anywhere in the world. I’ve also done some work for Charmaine Arnold and Ian Campbell.

BIBLE SOCIETY

Our partnership with the Bible Society is well underway now. My main responsibility is to promote the bible a month club. People can sign up to provide one or more bibles per month at a cost of only $10 a bible. Currently only 1 in 5 new Christians are likely to own a bible! Think of how many bibles we often have each! Imagine not owning a bible! It is exciting to have the opportunity to draw people’s attention to this need and to help people receive a bible. (See www.biblesociety.com.au if you want to join.)

I will also be distributing free bibles as well as bibles and biblezines (a bible that looks like a magazine – very cool) for sale at my concerts.
