MERCY TOUR

NEWS

Live performances are back into full swing now that recording for the new Album is almost finished. The schedule has been busy but also very refreshing. I firmly believe that God created music as an amazing tool to praise him. The bible tells us that we are to come before his presence with singing (Psalm 100:2). When we sing to God, we can really sense his presence and I find it incredible that when we do something like this for God, he gives us so much more in return. That is just how generous he is!
We've had some great times lately and these have encompassed a wide variety of events from pumping youth concerts to quiet and reflective church services. Check out the itinerary for details.
One of the aspects of touring I love is meeting people. I've been inspired by the wisdom, talents and creativity of many of the people I've met recently, both recording and touring and I am very grateful for these opportunities.
Over the last few years I've had the pleasure of interviewing Ken & Lyn Overton as part of several of my concert programs. Both of them have had miraculous recoveries from life threatening illnesses. You can check out their stories on www.miraclerecovery.org They now have a book written by former Compassion Australia CEO, Paul O'Rourke, covering their life story. It is truly amazing what God has done.

IN THE STUDIO

The mix for my new Album was completed in September and it has scrubbed up really well. After listening to it I felt one song still needed some revision and I've been working on this. It has taken a bit of time and will also need a remix which will be done in mid November. After this is done the Album can be mastered and printed, so hopefully it will be out by Christmas. We have just begun work on the cover which will be a lot of fun!
I have also been working on a song for Stuart Nicholls. It is a really nice adaptation of an old hymn called 'I've Found a Friend'.
